MY FAVORITE THINGS
about being a design director
Cheryl Lovejoy

Cheryl Lovejoy
Since 2013

Helping others: Supporting and empowering our talented team is a gratifying aspect of my role. Encouraging the designers to collaborate ideas and concepts with the team leads to our best work for our clients.

Life-long learner: As a designer, you never stop learning, and it's one of the things I love most about this job. Waltz provides in-person and online learning opportunities each year for the team. From Adobe MAX to First Round, we love embracing our ever-changing industry, getting inspired by peers, and growing our team's skillset every opportunity we can.

Making our clients shine: A good designer goes well beyond being an artist and having a good eye. Designers are visual communicators, problem solvers, and marketers. As design director, I really enjoyed getting to know my clients and their goals. To get to know their brand, people, products, and services. We're here to design work that people love and help our clients succeed.
