Waltz supports the Syngenta Flowers MarCom team in managing the brand for the North American market.
In 2020, Schipper helped extend and apply a new brand refresh by Dutch agency, Milford. We adapted the new system to the North American market and helped translate the European work with subtle tweaks to the color palette, building off of the original design intent.
Since then, we’ve continued to help the team apply the work beyond the brand guidelines into advertising, traditional and virtual tradeshows, catalogs, social media and marketing.

We were excited to introduce the new brand during their signature event, the 2020 California Spring Trials (CAST). We designed an immersive experience around the concept, “Grow your Senses” and developed experiential exhibits playing on sight, smell, sound, touch and taste.
Just two weeks before opening day, the show was canceled due to COVID shelter-in-place orders. We worked with the Syngenta team to quickly rebrand and retool CAST into an online experience. The name of the event was changed to webCAST and promotions began before it was even built!
In less than a week, our teams produced a branded microsite with pages for all of their products, including videos, sales sheets, downloadable posters and more. The Syngenta team curated a 2-day schedule of live webinars and demonstrations with their dispersed product managers, each live-streaming from their home offices.
The end result was well-received and the success in 2020 led to a hybrid event in 2021, with in-person and live-stream content, for which we developed an in-depth Interactive Show Guide to be sure all participants had a full experience.
While catalogs and tradeshows are larger undertakings, Waltz has supported Syngenta in executing the refreshed brand across every segment of their business, including print and digital ads and the launching of their social media presence in the Spring of 2020.
The brand reflects a forward-thinking organization that wants to stand out in a crowded industry. Social media is one way we have helped Syngenta rise above the crowd. Our strategic approach to content reflects their business objectives, is on brand and provides continued value for their customers.
Waltz has been a wonderful partner for Syngenta’s flower business and has become an integral component of our marketing team and capabilities.”
