What is your role at Waltz?

In 2017, Waltz opened a new door for me as an agency account coordinator. Since then, I’ve been the go-to person for several of our largest client accounts, including Natividad and Syngenta Flowers. My role has expanded over the years to include social media management and digital marketing. Day to day, I’m in constant communication with the designers to ensure our clients’ expectations are met and brand standards are kept.

Tell us about your history and experience.

After college, I dabbled in the newspaper and magazine industries before working for The North Face, creating content for their social media accounts. Then I transitioned into the creative agency world as a digital projects specialist.

My journalism background has made me the go-to person for copywriting and grammar/punctuation advice for the Waltz team, and writing blog posts. My photography and broadcasting minors (plus my own personal creative hobbies) have helped me understand the creative side of the business so I can better speak the designers’ language when asking them to complete a project.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

Outside of work, I’m a writer and photographer. I run a travel blog called and enjoy going on trips with my husband to fill its webpages. I love sushi, bubble tea smoothies, and trying new international food. On Sundays, I volunteer in the soundbooth at my church, a skill I learned while on my university’s broadcast team many years ago.

What do you like about working at Waltz Creative?

I love that our team is so competent. I can count on everyone to do their job well and rely on their strengths to create the best product. We’re good at working together, communication is key.
