GDUSA 2021 Award Winners

Waltz honored with 6 American Graphic Design Awards

Waltz Creative recently took home six honors by Graphic Design USA’s 2021 American Graphic Design Awards. These award-winning projects represent the breadth of industries we serve including technology, MedTech, professional services, education and food/agriculture. Projects recognized were from a range of services, including branding, websites and print. Some of the work will be featured in the upcoming issue of the magazine and online. We are honored to have six projects recognized from more than 11,000 entries and it reminds us why "Outcomes Over Output" is one our Waltz mantras.

The Design Lights Consortium (DLC) web redesign was a complex project we designed in partnership with VND. Working closely with the client we revamped the entire user experience to better showcase the DLC brand and optimize the experience in a public and secure portal.

The Herff Jones Yearbooks New Adviser Support Campaign was conceived, designed and executed to serve an audience near and dear to Founding Partner Kathy Schipper and Client Services Director Heidi Ash. As former Herff Jones yearbook reps, they understood the critical need for this campaign and the varying audiences the campaign targeted. We were thrilled with the outcome and hope that it served reps and advisers well, especially considering how challenging last school year was for everyone.

The Corvia Medical Rebrand Brand won in the Branding and Identity category. Having developed the original brand for Corvia several years ago, we were happy to see them return for a refresh to take them to the next level. Partnering with Sprig Consulting, we were able to deliver a complete identity system to further establish their groundbreaking work in the treatment of heart failure.

The Dunneville Market and Kitchen branding project also won in the Branding and Identity category. We enjoyed helping local entrepreneurs take over a legendary community legacy. This fun system pays tribute to the history of the eatery while building on the vision and enthusiasm of the new owners.

The Stevenson School Travel Piece was recognized in the Brochures and Collateral category. Working with Stevenson is always such a pleasure and we are so proud of all of the work we’ve done together over several years. Being able to call some of that work award-winning seems only fitting as we continue to partner with the Stevenson team to elevate the brand and make sure that our combined efforts reflect the level of excellence for which Stevenson is known.

We’re especially proud to have our own Waltz Creative rebrand recognized with an award! As you already know, this was a big effort for our team in 2021. While we are adept at helping clients rebrand, doing it for ourselves, while still managing a full schedule of client work, was challenging, rewarding and definitely a labor of love.
